Welcome to the Scrapbooking From The Inside Out Design Team Blog Hop! We are showcasing layouts by the current design team using the June kit TRANSFORMATION. If you are just arriving at my blog, make sure you go to the beginning at Melissa's blog as you won't want to miss out on all the gorgeous inspiration. This hop is special as we say goodbye to some very wonderful ladies (one of which is myself!), who have been part of the SFTIO family for over a year and will continue to be forever family. We are also saying HELLO to our new TEEN COLLECTIVE. What is a "Teen Collective"?
We are combining the Teen Designers from CreateU with our Design Team at SFTIO. This is a wonderful opportunity to have each of these girls give their perspective of the monthly emotion. Each Teen Designer will be joining us for one month as a Guest Designer but, will be a constant and active "voice" on our website and forum.
Ready to begin?
Here's one of my transformation layouts this month... This large word template was perfect for this page idea. I am constantly changing and growing from experiences all around me and sometimes it's not the end result but the "Journey that Counts". My journey with SFTIO has been such a wonderful one. The people and kits have transformed me and allowed me to explore my inner emotions, share experiences, and teach others! I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this team!
I used the stencil in this kit to add a background detail with white marker and crayon from Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft line!
Here's a close up of the title strip! I used the gradient paper to create the fade out look!
I wanted the page to look like a celebration of sorts... whenever you grow and change, it should be a party! A celebration of where you have come from and where you are going! I know I'm not finished with the journey even though my time with SFTIO as a DT member is (for now). I will still be sharing my growth and check in on the boards!
We also have a fabulous prize! Leave a comment below letting me know what TRANSFORMATION is to you by Saturday, 9 p.m. pacific time. The winner will be announced by Monday on Facebook and the SFTIO blog.
Thanks for swinging by! Make sure to visit Scrapbooking from the Inside Out. We have a FREE Inspiration Page giving you loads of ideas using our current emotion, a welcoming forum and you can grab your own kit here!
Next on your hopping adventure is Katie . Click here to be taken directly to their blog.

Helmar Challenge & Ustream class info...
April's here and it's time for a little challenge... Are you a Project Life follower or participant? Don't know what Project Life is? Well, I've been a lurker of artists and scrapbookers who are doing Project Life and haven't gotten into it yet myself but I plan to do this challenge. It's a mini project life page, journal, whatever... ONE week. Maybe a scrapbook page of a day in the life or week of favorites. Here is the post link to the Helmar blog that details the info.
So all you have to do now, is do your own version of Aprils Challenge and Link it up via your blog post or Facebook upload, and link it with our Linky tool in the Right Hand sidebar of the blog! Easy as that. Make sure you include what Helmar projects you used in your blog post!
You could even win yourself a gift certificate to the Helmar Store! You gotta be in it to win it!!!!
I will be doing a Helmar Live Ustream class on Tuesday, April 24th at 7pm EST! I will be creating this Nicho using chipboard, cardboard shapes, felt, WOW Embossing powders, and of course Helmar adhesives! I'll be using Helmar ZapDots Squares, 450 Quickdry Adhesive, and Crackle Step 1 Adhesive.
Join me for this fun class! I hope to see you in the chat room!

Blog Hop: Perfect Layers & Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft
Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft is
teaming up with Perfect Layers for a blog hop! Faber-Castell Design
Memory Craft will be giving away $50 in prizes and Perfect Layers will
be giving away 3 Perfect Layers Rulers!
Here’s how you can win:
Here is my project using the Perfect Layers tools. I used the Perfect Tears deckle tool to create the edging on the colored pieces. Then I used the Perfect Layers tool to create the matting. It made it so easy to create even edges all the way around!
I used the water pen to moisten the edges of the paper around the deckle tool. It allowed me to tear it easier since I was using cardstock.
I colored the strips that I tore with the Tropical Gelatos and layered them on the card.
The perfect layer tool is easy to use and created even matting on all sides! Super easy! Don't for get to hop to the other blogs and leave comments!
Here’s how you can win:
- You have until midnight EST, on April 5th to complete the hop.
- Just follow the links below- be sure to leave a comment on each post. That way, we’ll know you were there. Happy hopping!

Blog Hop with Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft and Just Right Stamps
Welcome to our blog hop with JustRite® Stampers! We’re so excited to show you what we’ve been working on over the past couple of weeks!
We’ll also be giving away a prize every day (3/18 ~3/19)!
Before I show you the prize pack, let me share my project I did with the stamps and Design Memory Craft's products. I created a wall hanging with the adorable Grandma's Attic Background stamp and Ooh La La French Frills Stamps.
Using Faber-Castell's Textural Accents gel medium, I adhered sewing pattern tissue paper to the chipboard piece. I stamped with Stamper's Big Brush Markers in black and they came out so crisp and gorgeous!
Gelatos from the 50's Diner set added color to the dress form and hexagons.
I hope you liked my wall-hanging and will continue the hop! Here are the prizes you could win!
Leave me a comment and make sure you visit the other designers and main sites!
Two winners will win the following prize pack from Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft:
Two winners will win one of the prize packs below from JustRite (worth $54 and $84):
