Sneak Peek and Giveaway!!!

It's WOW! Week on Paper Crafter's Library this week!  My project will be featured this Friday!  I'm going to share a sneak peek of my project!  You will have to tune into the PaperCrafter's Library site to see the whole project though...
Here's a little view of my project!  It was fun to create and I can't wait to share it with you!

A Bit About Paper Crafter’s Library
The world of paper crafting is HUGE! Whether you are a beginner, or you’ve been creating for years, the sheer number of different products, tools, techniques and project ideas can be overwhelming. After spending 6 years helping thousands of paper crafters around the world become more successful in the creative space through her series of kits, digital tutorials and online classes, Andrea Walford began looking for a new approach to education. In 2011 she launched Paper Crafter’s Library – the first, and still to this day, only website that provides an all-in-one learning solution for paper crafters. With almost 800 videos currently in their library and 4-5 new videos added each week, Paper Crafter’s Library offers comprehensive training on products, tools, techniques, and project ideas. From beginner through to advanced, whether your interest is in stamping, card making, scrapbooking, creating 3D items or altered art – you’ll find all the resources you need to navigate the world of paper crafting in ONE place, organized and indexed so that it’s quick and easy to find.

I'm giving away a 3 month membership to PaperCrafter's Library!  You have to leave a comment on my blog post about PCL here by Friday at 4:00pm and I will pick a winner!

PS... don't forget to comment on my Prima / Faber-Castell Blog Hop post for a chance to win some Aquarelles in one of the color sets by Friday too!

PRIMA!!! Blog Hop with Faber-Castell

Is there anything better than two companies combining their amazing products? Today I have a joint venture by Prima Marketing and Faber-Castell! Not only do their products work perfectly together, but they provide wonderful platforms for inspiration and creativity!!

They've also included a chance to win some of their products. Hop around to our talented design team blogs and leave a comment on each of the blogs. Once you are done, come back to the Prima and Faber-Castell blogs and let them know your favorite technique. They will pick a random winner on the Prima blog May 30th! Faber Castell will also have a prize so make sure you go to their blog for details on how to win!

If you came here via Jill's link, make sure you follow all the blog links below and return to the Prima and Faber-Castell blogs.

Now, to share my Prima/Faber-Castell DMC projects! I did 2 projects for this hop...

First up is a purse I made with Donna Downey's refill canvas pages, some canvas resist pieces and of course Faber-Castell DMC Gelatos, Aquarelles, and Pitt Artist pens.

A pocket made from one of the resist canvas pieces with Gelatos over a Prima mask, pens, modeling paste and Aquarelles.

The back of the purse!  Some more modeling paste, Gelatos, resist canvas pieces.

Inside of the purse with some more Gelatos!  I used ribbon for the handles.

Delight in the Small Things

I'm so excited for this month's kit at Scrapbooking From the Inside Out... Delight!  It is all that and more!  The products in here are full of bright colors, fun textures, fabulous patterns and will bring out your artsy fartsy side!  LOL!  This kit is right up my alley!  Here is one of my projects that I made (I loved this kit so much that I made 6 projects instead of the 5 minimum... that's how much I love it!)...

This one is one of my favorites!

My Pink Tootsies
Those are my feet in the sand!  I love the feel of sand between my toes with a new pedicure.  I love the bright colors of this kit and the Delusions spray... OMG... just amazing!  I added a few of my favorite techniques on this page... texture, texture, TEXTURE!
Using some templates, I added modeling paste from US ArtQuest (101 paste) to create a bit of raised texture and more dots.  Circles are a reoccurring element on my pages.  So, after spraying with the ink, i added the paste!  I loved the little frames and stickers too!
I created this page while I was on a trip to a Stamping Expo where I was demoing Faber-Castell products and was at a loss when I didn't have my stash of materials with me... so, using Gelatos, I created some drippage and bought some of these pink microbeads to add to the American Crafts Thickers.
This page was a fun page to create and I wanted to express my delight every time I step onto a beach with the sand under my feet.  It's pure delight and makes me feel instantly calm.  When I look at my pink toenail polish in the sand, I smile!  There is nothing like a day at the beach to make you feel alive!

Come on over to the Scrapbooking From the Inside Out site and play with us on the challenges and don't miss out on the DT call there!  This is a very generous kit and I never have any reservations when using the items in them... I actually squeal out loud when I open each month!
